In this lovely village setting you will learn the ancient craft of Indian Block Printing and be able to print your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. You can choose to print either a table runner, a set of napkins or any other three items of your choice (tea towels, cushion covers, gift bags, tote bags, scarves, aprons etc).

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Tea, coffee, cordial and biscuits will be provided but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks too.

At the end of the session there will be a small selection of wooden printing blocks, textiles and paints available to purchase for anyone who might be interested in pursuing this hobby at home.
