In this beautiful building on the iconic Bowood Estate, you will learn the ancient art of Indian Block Printing and be able to print your own designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Print either a table runner, set of six napkins or any three other items of your choice (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, gift bags) which you can take home on the day.

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs.  You are welcome to bring an apron but this is not essential.

Tea, coffee, elderflower cordial and biscuits will be served but you are also welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks.

There will be some printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home.
