In this beautiful location, you will spend the day learning the ancient art of Indian Block Printing and be able to print your own designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks.

Along with my botanical, animal and traditional Indian design blocks, I will also have my new collection of William Morris inspired blocks available for you to print with - such as the iconic strawberry thief, marigold and honeysuckle designs.

You can print either a table runner or set of four napkins plus any other two items of your choice  (tea towels, tote bags, cushion covers, aprons and scarves) which you can take home on the day.

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

There is an onsite cafe where you can buy drinks, snacks and lunches or you are welcome to bring your own food and drinks along.  We will break for lunch from approximately 1.15pm - 2pm.

There will be a few printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home.
