Location: Hook Norton Memorial Hall OX15 5LE

Cost: £35 (for one adult and child - extra child £14.50)

This workshop is aimed at parents (or grandparents) and children (aged 4 to 14).  The price is for one adult and one child but if you'd like to bring more than one child the cost is £14.50 per additional child.  If you'd like to book any additional child spaces please email artofjaipur@aol.com to let me know how many extra children you are bringing. 

At the workshop, you and your child/children will learn the ancient craft of Indian Block Printing and be able to create your own beautiful designs using a wide range of hand carved blocks. Children will create their own apron or Easter egg hunt bag and parents/grandparents can make either a tea towel or tote bag.

You will first have a demonstration and then you will practise on old fabric until you are ready to create your own designs. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Tea, coffee, cordial and biscuits will be provided but please feel free to bring any additional drinks or snacks if you would like to.

There will be a few printing blocks and blank textiles available to buy at the end for anyone who is interested in pursuing this craft at home
