Festive Candle and Diffuser Making Workshop - Saturday 7th November - 2pm - 4pm - Brinkworth Village Hall, The Street, Brinkworth SN15 5AD

Join us in this lovely village setting and learn the art of making your own scented jar candles and twisted reed diffusers. 

You will learn how to make your own festive candle and diffuser to take home on the day which will infuse your home with the wonderful seasonal scent of Spiced Orange.

The session will show you how to make a candle from start to finish with lots of useful information about where to source ingredients and comparisons between the various containers, waxes, wicks, and scents available.

The course will provide a step by step guide to making jar candles from choosing the right container, wax , wicks and fragrance to preparing the work area, wicking the container, melting the wax and adding the fragrance. I will then demonstrate how to correctly pour the wax to ensure a smooth and professional looking finish.

You will also learn how to combine oils to make your own twisted reed diffuser with lots of useful information about getting the best performance and scent throw too.

Candle and diffuser safety will also be covered.

Please wear old clothes or bring an apron!

Tea, coffee, cordial and biscuits will be provided but please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks too.
